Recipe: One-Step Lasagna

One-Step Lasagna

1 1/2 cups water
2  (15 1/2 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce (I only use 1 jar)
1 box lasagna noodles
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
8 oz. mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1. Combine 1 1/2 cups water with spaghetti sauce in bowl. Cover bottom of 13"x9"x2" baking dish with 1 1/2 cups of sauce.
2. Arrange layer of uncooked noodles slightly overlapping, on top of sauce.
3. Spread half of ricotta and half mozzarella over noodles. Sprinkle 2 tbsp Parmesan.Add another layer of sauce.
4. Repeat with another sauce over the top; spreading evenly to cover edges of noodles. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup layer of noodles, the remaining ricotta and mozzarella and 2 tbsp Parmesan.
5. Top with layer of noodles. Pour remaining Parmesan.
6. Cover tightly with heavy duty foil. Set on jelly-roll pan. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 1 hour.
