{Bookshelf} The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck by Kathleen Y'Barbo
The Inconvenient Marriage of Charlotte Beck: A Novel (Women of the West Series #3)
by Kathleen Y'Barbo
This title was the first book I have read by Kathleen Y’Barbo. The story is about a spiritied rich girl, Charlotte, who wants to get an education in order to help her father’s business. She is a wild girl who seems to have trouble always knocking on her door. She meets Viscount Alexander, whom has the burden of his family’s financial struggles.
Alex & Charlotte are then offered a deal, by Charlotte's father, that is to hard to pass up. But Alex nor Charlotte are happy about this and try to find a way out.
Although I have not read the first two books in the series, I enjoyed this book as a stand alone. It was such a fun, light read. Overall, I enjoyed it very much.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book from WaterBrook Multnomah in exchange for my honest opinion.
