{Bookshelf} Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
This is one of my favorite books. It is a wonderful story of God’s love & forgiveness. Redeeming Love parallels the story in the Bible, of Hosea & Gomer. Francine Rivers paints a wonderful picture in your mind of the bitterness and forgiveness Angel pilgrims through.
Angel’s story is very sad and heart wrenching. She was sold into prositution as a child after her mother died. The books then takes you on the journey Angel takes to find her way out of a dead & empty life. She meets Michael, a man who feels God is telling him to take her our of prostitution and marry her. Together they learn about forgiveness and loving the difficult.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys historical fiction and a good cry.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book from LibraryThing Early Reviewer program in exchange for my honest opinion.
