Recipe: Peas & Bacon Tortellini

RECIPE: Peas & Bacon Tortellini

  • 1 package cheese-filled tortellini
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
  • 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
  1. Prepare tortellini according to package directions in salted water.
  2. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Then, stir in pressed garlic.
  3. Add the peas and tomato to the skillet with 1 ladle of pasta water and heat through.
  4. Scoop the tortellini into the skillet. Sprinkle with bacon and Parmesan cheese and toss with the sauce.
  5. Serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and crumbled bacon.
