Recipe: Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup

Slow Cooker Lasagna Soup

    Ingredients 
    1 lb cooked ground turkey, beef or Italian sausage
    1 cup of vegetable broth
    2 cloves of garlic, minced 
    1 Tablespoon dried parsley 
    1 Tablespoon dried basil 
    ½ cup chopped onion 
    1, 28 oz can of diced tomatoes 
    1, 6 oz can of tomato paste 
    2 small cans of tomato soup
    2 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
    1 can of kidney beans (optional)
    Salt and Pepper to Taste
    Optional topping- shredded cheese

    Directions

    1. Combine all ingredients into slow cooker.
    2. Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours/ HIGH for 4-5 hours. 
    3. 30 minutes before you are ready to serve, cook pasta. When the pasta is done cooking throw it in the crock pot and stir until it is all combined. 
    4. Serve with shredded cheese
